Course Details

This is a continuation course for existing FCL Students who have completed the Open College Network West Midlands Level 3 Certificate from which the guided learning hours can be carried forward to the Diploma Course if undertaken within one year. This is an Ofsted Nationally Recognised Qualification and is also recognised by the Groomer’s Spotlight, where, once qualified you can become a member of them and create your profile. After payment to Heavenlyz, you will receive the course guide material, manual, handbook and homework journal. Throughout the course, you will be undertaking practical training, working through the Heavenlyz course guide and preparing to undertake a practical assessment. You will be required to provide photographic evidence of your practical work for assessment which should show clear images with you standing behind your dog. We will guide you in this process. To achieve this qualification you need to be able to;

Bathe and groom from start to finish 9 different breeds to include 15 different styles (different coat types to demonstrate a variety of head, tail, feet and body styles).

Complete one full groom on a practical assessment day to kennel club breed standard at diploma level.
