An 8 Day Comprehensive Course
This course is designed for anyone looking to complete an introductory dog grooming course without the need for formal qualifications or assessments.
Our In-House Course provides fundamental practical skills and knowledge and is a beginner stand-alone course or a foundation for pursuing the AIM Level 3 Award.
You will be given an induction day to familiarise yourself with the salon environment and the necessary health, safety, and risk assessment aspects. Previous grooming experience is optional.
This course will provide you with the essential knowledge to start your grooming business and build confidence in a professional and welcoming setting.
You will be awarded an FCL-framed Certificate of Achievement upon completing the course. This course will allow you to assess your future needs and determine if dog grooming will meet your expectations. After completing our In-House Course, you may pursue the AIM Level 3 Award.
The mandatory one-day taster course will help us assess your competence and ability before we proceed to the In-House Foundation Course or the AIM Level 3 Course. The day-long taster course will allow you to spend time with us, participate in dog bathing and drying, ask questions, and chat with other team members and students.
