These terms and conditions will apply to grooming services provided to you (the consumer, customer, consenting owner, client or you) by us, the supplier, The Groomer, FCL, FCL Ltd., Furst Class Lounge, or Furst Class Lounge Limited. This agreement is in addition to all Terms and Conditions of Service and includes the following:

I confirm that my dog is fit, healthy and fully vaccinated.

I agree to care for my dog’s coat by maintaining it reasonably between grooming appointments.

Due to lack of maintenance and neglect, Furst Class Lounge Ltd may or may not clip off or shave a heavily matted/felted coat.

I agree to pay any extra charges for de-matting a neglected coat due to a lack of home grooming/brushing between grooming appointments.

By signing this customer record card, I agree that the groomer (FURST CLASS LOUNGE Ltd) cannot be held liable or responsible for irritation, abrasion, cuts, patchiness or hair loss due to any pre-existing skin condition or as a result of the process of grooming, de-matting, thinning, hand-stripping, shaving, cutting nails or any mishap caused by non-disclosure of your dog’s medical condition or behaviour.

I understand that anal glands, ear health, ear plucking, and hair and ear wax or plugs inside the ear canal are the responsibility of a veterinarian and not a groomer. This forms part of our codes of practice.

I understand that choosing a short, clipped style for my dog will expose naturally forming and genetic cowlicks, swirls, and crowns, as illustrated and explained on the Furst Class Lounge website terms and conditions/information page, and I accept that these are not mistakes or mishaps caused by the process of grooming and clipping.

I accept that trimming a short coat may result in clipper lines or marks, especially if my dog moves around constantly while the coat is clipped.

Due to my dog’s temperament and behaviour, I understand that limitations in completing the grooming process may apply.

I understand that the final price or cost of grooming can only be determined after my dog has been groomed, taking behaviour and coat condition into consideration.

If my dog bites another dog or person, I agree to pay for the total cost of damages and expenses my dog causes.

If I fail to collect my dog at the arranged time, I will pay all extra care and accommodation fees due.

If my dog is found to harbour fleas or external parasites, I agree to pay the clearing and containment charge.

If my dog causes concern for its health and well-being while in the care of Furst Class Lounge Ltd., I agree that you may obtain veterinary treatment at my expense.

I agree to pay charges for appointments cancelled or missed without 24 hours’ notice.

I fully accept and consent to all the terms and conditions displayed and those detailed on the Furst Class Lounge Ltd website. I understand that Furst Class Lounge Ltd. may update terms and conditions without prior notice and decline service at any time.

 I agree to the Furst Class Lounge Ltd. privacy policy, details of which can be found on the company website. I accept that my personal information will be used to contact me regarding services supplied by Furst Class Lounge Ltd. and may also be stored electronically. Furst Class Lounge Ltd does not share this information.

By signing your customer agreement and record card, you agree that any photographs taken on FCL premises will be the sole property of Furst Class Lounge Ltd.
